Most tutoring students come from the schools close to Whitefish Bay. In addition to Whitefish Bay High School, students may come from private schools such as Marquette High School, Dominican, DSHA, University School of Milwaukee, and nearby public schools – Shorewood, Nicolet, Homestead. In addition, it is common for me to tutor students from Wauwatosa, Brookfield, Hartland, and Milwaukee Public Schools, among others.
Late afternoon and evenings Sunday through Thursday. Starting around 3pm until 9:30 is convenient for nearby students from Whitefish Bay, Shorewood, Mequon Homestead, Nicolet High School to get to tutoring. In the summer, I tutor those same hours, so that students can get tutoring for the ACT, or math and science subjects such as Geometry, Algebra, Calculus, or Chemistry outside of the academic school year.
All appointments last an hour. Tutoring is one-on-one and in-person in Whitefish Bay in the Fox Bay Theater/ Argo Building.
All tutoring is in-person and one-on-one in my Whitefish Bay office.
Consistency is paramount, such that weekly meetings are a must. My Whitefish Bay tutoring office is conveniently located for students of Milwaukee’s North Shore
Core subjects are math, science, and the ACT. Math tutoring is algebra through calculus (including AP courses) , while science is Physics, Chemistry, and AP Chemistry. Over decades, I have become familiar with these courses, as well as some of the idiosyncrasies of certain schools nearby like Nicolet, Homestead, Shorewood, Whitefish Bay, and private schools like Marquette High School, DSHA, University School of Milwaukee, and Dominican High School.
While I prefer to tutor all four sections of the ACT to maximize scores, there are rare occasions where tutoring only one or two ACT subjects can be effective.
Payment for tutoring is expected at the time of the appointment and can be made via check, cash, or credit card.
